Choices
If a dilemma is a choice of two options, a trilemma is three, and a lemma (monolemma) is the only choice, usually in the context of a logical proof.
What choices are on my mind? Well, I recently learned that my KPOP top 3--Red Velvet, Mamamoo, EXID--all have comebacks scheduled for the end of November. This means they're likely to have solo concerts this winter. I've been to one KPOP concert in LA, where I saw Girl's Day and Sistar. A solo concert is another story, more like American concerts where one group features many of their discography.
I feel my interest in KPOP waning, and that this top 3 will be my last (of two) since discovering the industry 6 years ago. So it's a dream of mine to see each of them in a solo concert. And I'm in Asia! That means my southeast Asia tour may end with a trip to Korea. Acquiring tickets is nontrivial for international fans. I'm hoping I can nab an opportunity to see EXID and Mamamoo. Red Velvet is coming to Pasadena in February. It may be worth skipping the Sapporo Snow Festival (and Snow Miku 2019) in favor of catching this group in LA. Maybe you can tell from my album reviews so far, but RV is a big deal. "Bad Boy" immediately won song of the year in my book despite coming out at the beginning of the year. Upcoming is their stupidly titled sequel, "Really Bad Boy." Even if the sequel doesn't live up to the original, the group's talent and deserved success promise it to be a dope track.
Stay posted for KPOP album reviews once these drop.
They say you should stop and smell the roses. I call bullshit. Roses look pretty but aren't always fragrant. Instead, I encourage you to stop and count the bees. You may discover something unexpected.
